What's the difference?
I found a fabulous quote today from Sheik Taj al-din al-Hilaly. It says "The differences between the two major parties as a whole is like the difference between Coke and Pepsi; they may have a slightly different flavour but they are both still cola." (The Mercury 30/10/2007). How completely brilliant. No one has been able to find such an eloquent way to describe the similarities. Lets hope there is more to come from other observers.
Meanwhile on the box - Media Watch needs to be longer. What a great program. Its the only place on the TV where you can get informed commentary about whats wrong with mainstream media - and yes they do occasionally point out their own mistakes! Keep up the good work.
