old reliable - means I've watched consistently fading favorite - means I use to watch consistently, but last season not so much
reality comfort - means it's a reality show I've watched consistently (BUT I'm really trying to get away from reality shows as much as possible this season!)
worth a try - means they bleeped on my radar, I'm going to try them out/have low hopes for.
