TeeVee: Big Brother (8/13)
First the RECAP: Chima, as HOH nominated Russell and Lydia for eviction. Kevin won the Power of Veto, but did not use it to take anyone off the block. Jeff holds the Power of Coup d'Etat and has been promising America he'll use it.
The Filler:
1. Chima's best friend and Grandma talk about her game play so far. They both say that she's a girly-girl that speaks her mind, especially against macho men. Although Chima's Grandma says she's proud of her, you can hear the hesistion in her voice, as she also includes that she wishes she'd listen more and think before she speaks.
2. More Russell scheming. I think he wants to be this season's 'Evil Dick', but he just comes off obnixious to me. Although the things he's told others are mostly true, the blow-ups that follow just get him into more and more trouble. **Biggest Russell Blow-up was when Natalie told Jessie that Russell was talking to Michelle...Jessie barged in, reminded Michelle that Russell had called her a nutcase just a couple of days ago, which made Russell go ape-sh*t on him.
3. More 'Wizard' talk: Everyone has their guesses as to who the 'Wizard' is. And it came down to Jeff as the main suspect, or that's how they edited it at least.
4. More Paranoid Jessie. That's all I have to say about that.
The 'LIVE' Eviction: I didn't realize this until this morning, since I don't watch the live feeds (I'm not that obessed OKAY!) that the 'Live' Eviction wasn't so LIVE. It was taped earlier, supposedly due to Chima's threats to go f-ing crazy if the 'Wizard' uses their powers to change her nominations.
LUCKILY Jeff isn't afraid of Chima (should he be?) AND 'shocks' the house by standing up when Prego Chenbot gives the okay. As Julie Chen goes over the rules of the Coup d'Etat, Jessie slumps into the couch. Jeff takes Lydia off first and replaces her with Natalie. He then takes Russell off and replaces him with Jessie (who in turn strips off one shirt to reveal another with a picture of his muscly-posing body slapped on it). He almost cries as he pleads with the houseguests to keep him, but with a vote of 3 (Jordan, Michelle & Kevin) to 2 (Lydia & Russell) he's booted from the house. He graciously tells Jeff that was the best move he made so far in this game. (I think so too, and hopefully it doesn't backfire on him this coming week). Once Jessie is gone, and Lydia thanks Jeff for keeping his promise, Chima takes that as Jeff told Lydia about his 'Power' (Which he soooo didn't)
The HOH Competition: Because the Coup d'Etat was used Chima got to play in this competition, and is seen orchestrating to Kevin who to pit against each other in the head to head. It widdles down to Kevin vs. Michelle and MICHELLE wins.
Michelle's been loosely linked to everyone in the house, most recently the "Women's Coalition" of Chima, Natalie and herself (and possibly Kevin), which I predict will only grow stronger this week without Jessie in the house; they may even be able to bring in Lydia for numbers. But she's also been linked to Russell recently, before the whole 'nutcase' thing...so who knows.
My Prediction: Michelle will put Jeff and Russell up on the block this week with Chima in her ear. I don't think she personally cares that Jessie was backdoored by America and the Coup d'Etat, but will put Jeff up to gain allies. But I think it might be the end of the road for one of these two guys and it's closer to an all female finale (which I wouldn't mind, even if these females are not as fun to watch).
My thoughts on Chima's Threats: She's threatening to be crazier she's ever been and focus it all on Jeff. But I think out of all the people in the house, he's the most laid back and will just laugh in her face. What I would LOVE to see: Chima threaten more of the production of Big Brother, ulitmately having her be the first one ever evicted by the production team!
Are you sad to see Jessie go? What do you think about Chima? Is Jeff in trouble this week? Sound off in the Comments!
