TeeVee: Big Brother 11 (8/30)
First the Recap: Jeff was HOH, nominated Kevin and Natalie, but won the POV and backdoored Russell. Thursday's episode left us with a cliff-hanger of a HOH competition, so let's get to it . . .
Head of Household Competition: S'more . . .
A little comedy to start off this episode, we got to witness all the Hamsters fall on their butts numerous times.
**Kudos to Kevin for being the most stable on the slip-n-slide after his intial 2 falls in the beginning. He contributed his success and the WIN to his natural light-step walk.**
**Jeers to Natalie for being the worst at this competition. I think she saw Kevin in the lead and just gave up. She came in dead last, and I must admit I liked watching her fall the most.
**Cheers to both Michelle and Jordan in this competition. I think they were shown falling the most but at least the were in contention for the win (even with Jordan thinking she might've popped a boob!). AND Especially Michelle, who came in second.
FILLER:
Kevin's HOH room: The Hamsters got to see Kevin's hubby, and they all thought he looked like Enrique Iglesias . . . I didn't see it. And it was nice to witness such an emotional response to a positive letter of encouragment with Kevin's letter.
Michelle breaks down: Michelle feels like a big target this week without her ally Russell, and is often secluded and being kicked while she's down by the other houseguests (epecially Natalie who told her she wanted her out in a big-to-do in the kitchen). Michelle had a big crying fit in a storage room, where she tried to calm herself down by repeating 'It's just a game!' to herself. The poor thing, I felt bad for her. I didn't think she deserved the added stuff the other hamsters did to her in this episode.
Natalie's got her game face on: She targeted Michelle pretty hard, making sure everyone in the house knew that she wanted her gone. BUT we learn in the D.R. sessions that Natalie is doing it JUST IN CASE Jeff wins the POV this week, so that his only target would be Kevin, not her. Smart, BUT really, really, really annoying. Out of the 5 Hamsters left, she is the only one I DO NOT want to see win this season.
Kevin weighs his options: There's only 4 Hamsters to choose from, and with Natalie being his ally, there's in essence only 3. By Jeff's perspective, because of the deal made last week, there should only be 2 (Jordan and Michelle). So will Kevin keep his word to Jeff?
HOH Nominations:
Kevin went back on his word and nominated both Jeff and Michelle for eviction this week. AND I want to give another KUDOS to Kevin, because I don't think I would have thought this through like he did. He really did make the best choice for him, let me explain.
Knowing that EVERYONE can play in the POV competition:
1. If he nominated Jordan and Michelle, and Jeff won the POV he would take off Jordan and Kevin would HAVE TO put up Natalie (AND then Jeff and Jordan have the power as to who is voted out, and could potentially kick out Natalie if they wanted too).
2. By putting Jeff up now, he has to play the POV to save his own butt AND if that happens Kevin could replace him with Jordan. (It's actually better for Jeff to be put up now, and take himself off, then get backdoored after the POV)
3. If Michelle wins the POV, she can take herself off and Jordan goes up, ensuring that the couple is broken up.
4. The ONLY way Kevin loses in this week is if JORDAN wins POV. She would take off Jeff, Kevin would HAVE TO put up Natalie, and then again Jeff and Jordan have the power.
OBVIOUSLY Jeff is the most likely to win the POV competition, followed by Kevin and Michelle, and trailing way behind are Natalie and Jordan.
IF the nominations stay the same. There's a number of ways it could go. Jordan will obviously vote to evict Michelle. BUT the wild card is Natalie, she could vote as she's been spinning all week and vote to evict Michelle as well, BUT she might vote to evict Jeff, forcing a tie AND make Kevin get the blood on his hands by evicting Jeff.
IF Jeff takes himself off, and it's Jordan vs. Michelle, it will most likely be 2-0 and Michelle gets the boot. (She's a much stronger competitor than Jordan, however Jordan's a lot more likeable)
IF Michelle taker herself off, and it's Jordan vs. Jeff, it will most likely be 2-0 and Jeff gets the boot. (Again, he's a much stronger competitor than Jordan)
MY HOPE is that JORDAN DOES win POV, takes down Jeff, Natalie goes up and they vote her out! That would be my dream week. . .We Shall See.
