Random Bits
There's some sleeping pill where the ads always show a fluorescent green bug flying into peoples' open bedrooms while they sleep. In all the movies and TV shows I've ever seen, glowing insects getting into your bedroom never ends well.
On the History Channel's Dogfights series, the CGI people add a bit of swaying back and forth as the animated planes zoom past- like there's actually a camera platform being buffeted by the planes' wake. Reminds me of that shot in the Galactica pilot where a piece of CGI debris hits the "camera" and sends it spinning out of control.
Sealab 2021 is back on Sunday night Adult Swim. Now if we can just get some new Robot Chicken and Venture Brothers...
Why don't they stop being all coy about the dick-enlarging snake oil they hawk. Just put a barely dressed hot babe on: "You're cock isn't going to do it, honey- if you want me to spread my legs you'd better lengthen your own middle one!"
Faux News is going gaga over the new-to-them discovery that Hollywood uses energy and emits carbon dioxide just like every fricking industry on the entire fricking planet. We should start planning now to capture and put to use the energy released when their collective heads explode once they learn that Senator Clinton voted to authorize Bush's invasion of Iraq.
Not to spoil things for our overseas friends, but the various story threads on Heroes are starting to come together.
And again, after the "news" that a Star Trek alumni was going to appear, no one seemed to take any notice when we also saw a Doctor Who on the show.
I used to simply ignoreGong Show: The Next Degeneration American Idol. Now they're expanding Idol at the cost of pushing House M.D. out of the schedule. Now I loathe the show- if we wanted to see untalented hacks singing, that's what VH-1 is for!
With all the future superheroes turning up on Smallville, when will we get a guest appearance by Wonder Woman?
SciFi has been highlighting crappy old shows from UPN on Friday nights- so when will they show UPN's good sci fi series, Seven Days?
So a judge finally decided that Anna Nicole should be buried- I'm surprised nobody is yet hawking a "Shroud of the Medical Examiner's Office" on eBay.
