Big Brother 8/24/11
Big Brother, ZZZZZZZING!
We caught back up with the houseguests after Sunday's nomination ceremony in which Jeff nominated Kalia (for putting him up 3 weeks ago) and Porshe (for being a floater). It was basic knowledge to everyone (in the house & the audience) that if Dani didn't win the veto, she was in grave danger of being back-doored. And thus, that was the topic of conversation pre-veto. The only escape we got from that was a strip-tease from Jordan that was only mildly sexier than Adam's elf-costume strip-tease a few weeks ago; although this time, Jeff & Adam seemed to pleased enough with it.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZINGBOT 3000!
Zingbot 3000 entered the house to give out a few zings:
Jeff; 1995 called, and they want their soul-patch back! ZZZZZZZING!
Porshe; Maybe you should be named after a car with a roomier trunk! ZZZZZZZING!
Rachel; Every other word out of your mouth is the F-word… Fiancé! Fiancé! ZZZZING!
Daniele; Do you own a car? Or are you still riding on your daddy's coat-tails?! ZZING!
Something about Adam shaving and resembling Uncle Fester… ZING!
Something about Shelly being a man… ZING!
Something about Kalia sleeping… ZING!
Something about Jordan not being able to answer questions (and that's why Jeff hasn't proposed)… ZING!
POV COMPETITION!
Dani gets to play automatically because of her Veto Ticket. Jeff pulls out Jordan, Kalia and Porshe pull Adam & Shelly, leaving Rachel out. Everyone must build Zingbot 3000 a wife (Put a bunch of puzzle pieces on a robot body, then add arms and a head), first one to finish wins the VETO!
As the houseguests work we learn that both Adam and Shelly are throwing the competition (Adam says he's not in trouble this week, so he doesn't need to try and Shelly wants to stay in good with both sides), but really, are we that worried that either of them would have won this competition? Because I sure wasn't.
And while Jordan's off in her own world, Jeff, Kalia, Porshe & Dani all battled for the power. Jeff, Porshe & Dani started pulling in the lead, but something clicked with Jeff and he easily pieced the fembot together first.
JEFF WINS THE POV!
He now has all the power and can do whatever he wants and everyone knows it.
Big Jeff has Big Talks… Let's go from least impressive to most impressive (although, none were effective), because Big Jeff stayed tight-lipped and didn't actually make any deals with anyone this week.
Jeff & Adam – Now, granted, Adam had nothing to worry about this week (except for maybe if Dani won the veto, he would have been put up against Porshe). But his conversation with Jeff this week makes me hate him even more as a player. If somehow he ends up winning this season, I'm going to uber-pissed (unless something drastic changes). He's like a little lost puppy, following Jeff around… it's sickening.
Jeff & Porshe – Porshe knew she had to try and make a deal with Jeff, but the thing is, she has no idea how to do it, literally. She didn't come up with any sort of plan, any strategy. It was a half-assed attempt and no wonder Jeff basically blew her off for it. If you're not even going to try and sell it as a legitimate plan, why even bother? Plus, I think her half-assed line of "I've come so close to winning a bunch of challenges, I just want to stay until I win something" is probably the worst I've ever heard uttered on the show.
Jeff & Dani – I almost felt bad for her. She basically had to gravel. She offered up the only thing she really could, a final 4/final 3 deal (that she probably wouldn't keep).
Jeff & Kalia – She tried the humble approach. She now knows what it felt like to be used as a pawn in a master-scheme, but at the same time also being the go-to target if that master-scheme failed. I think it gave Jeff a bit of satisfaction, but not much else. He would have been happy to see Kalia go if things didn't work out the way he wanted, but they did and he's got a bigger fish to catch. Plus, he knows she'll be seriously weakened by the loss of her BFF.
The only other thing that happened in the house was Rachel's attempt at psychological warfare on Dani. She antagonized her in the kitchen and followed her to the yard. Dani did the right thing in walking away and not feeding into it. This is the thing I really hate about Rachel. She boo-hoos about how mean people are to her, but yet she's totally willing and able to do the same thing back when she feels superior. At least when Dani was targeting her and her man, she was doing it in the confines of game-play, whereas Rachel chooses to do it outside that realm. She's the one that makes it personal and it's disgusting to watch in my opinion.

Jeff had the power and the girls gave their speeches: Porshe "I like your haircut" and Kalia "If save me, it only means more red velvet cake!"…

DANI!
Dani, is of course, pissed. Jeff said it's because she went back on their deal in the very beginning of the game, tried to stage a coup to get him out, and all the other deals they've had were just a farce to keep himself and Jordan safe those weeks she had blinders on to get rid of Brendan. He also said that he hopes she regrets it this time. Dani said she doesn't (in a DR interview).
But if I were her, I would. She tried to make a big play too early and without really knowing where the floaters stood. The weeks she was in power her sight shifted from Jeff, who was already pissed at her, to Brenchel and she spent 2 weeks gunning for the same guy (she evicted Brendan 2x) and the week in between she let her closest ally nominate and evict a floater over Rachel.
I think it would have been a much different game if she had stuck to the original plan even 1 week longer. Let's just say she never tried to get Jeff evicted to save Dominic. She would have begrudgingly stuck with her alliance (even though they voted out Dominic), but still won the next HOH (to spite them). And she could have even nominated the same people: Brendan & Rachel, and evicting Brendan. She would have had the opportunity to actually still be in an alliance with JeJo (instead of the suedo-truce they've been in the past 3 weeks)… I really think that one decision really screwed her, but hindsight is 20-20 and if her original plan to back-door Jeff that week and save Dominic worked out, we'd be calling her a genius of the game.
So it looks like it's about a 99% chance that Dani is going home this week. I kind of hope she flies off the handle "Evel Dick" style or does something exciting prior-to her exit. There is always that chance though she can manipulate the floaters (Adam-Shelly-Porshe) into voting Kalia out instead, but that's a serious up-hill battle at this point.
BUT, we also get a WHOLE week of BB in 1 hour tonight! We'll get this Eviction (Dani), the next HOH, their Nominations, the POV & POV Ceremony, and another live Eviction!
It totally depends on who wins HOH (which will most likely be a trivia/question competition), but let's go through the options:
Rachel/Jordan Win HOH – I'm guessing they'd both go after Porshe & Kalia
Kalia Wins HOH – She'd probably go after Rachel (and put up a pawn)
Shelly Wins HOH – I bet she'd go after Porshe, Kalia AND/OR Adam
Porshe Wins HOH – Hahahahaha (I say that because it's most likely a quiz game, but also because I have no idea who she'd put up… possibly Rachel & Shelly)
Adam Wins HOH – Hahahahahaha (but just in case, he'll probably go after Porshe & Kalia)
I part of me just wants to obliterate Dani's alliance (get rid of Kalia), therefore I hope Rachel/Jordan win. Then another part of me hopes that a floater gets sent packing (like a Porshe or Adam). Then another part of me hopes that Kalia wins and sends Rachel off to be with her fiancé. Then another part of me hopes that one of the "floaters" (Porshe or Adam) win and make their first big move of the game and try and eliminate the likes of Jeff. Oh, the possibilities.
