Big Brother, another one bites the dust.
Quick catch-up: Rachel was HOH, and although Dani tried her best to get Brenchel to backdoor JeJo and keep Dom around, things blew up in her face. Brendan won POV, kept the nominations the same, leaving Adam & Dominic on the block for last night's eviction.
We get some stuff that went down post-POV Ceremony during last night's episode. But it mostly rattled down to Brenchel & JeJo calling out Kalia & Dom and pressuring them to tattle that it was Dani's mastermind plan the whole time. This led to a "House Meeting" were Jeff called the two out again, finally getting Dani to speak up.
My Thoughts – I understand why JeJo is upset. Jeff thought he was in an "Alum Alliance" with Brenchel & Dani. He's stuck true to his word thus far, and was mad when he was the target of Dani's plan. What I don't understand is the outbursts throughout the house over the situation, especially Brendan's condescending argument with Kalia. (SIDE NOTE- Seriously, I think I'd rip him to shreds if he ever spoke like that to me. It's seriously one of my biggest pet peeves in the entire world, and there's no way I would have enough control to take out my frustration on a mere water bottle a la Kalia.) The Alum Couples were still in control this week. They had the power to rid Dani of her plan & her closest ally, Dom. They could have done all of this quietly and perhaps not have antagonized Dani to such a severe point. You never know what HOH competition lies ahead, and although they've been lucky so far to have won those competitions, everyone's back in the game this coming week and all bets are off.
Then, we had the announcement that the DUO twist of the season is now officially over. All those with Golden Keys are now back in the game, and everyone's playing as individuals. Then, we get the start of the next HOH competition, an endurance challenge, where the contestants are standing and swiveling skis.

It comes down to Kalia vs. Dani. Yes, I'm serious. Apparently the challenge was skewed to a woman's smaller foot, since most of the men dropped out early. And the HOH is…

What now Alum Couples? Wish you didn't go ape-shit last week?
Now. I have to say, that I've been fine with the previous lackluster weeks since the show has begun. I like watching JeJo and sometimes even Brenchel play BB. Plus, considering the first week, with the newbies made their own beds by switching sides, I was totally content in watching the Alum Alliance clear house. BUT, this week will obviously be different. The Alum Couples made a clear distinction that it was them vs. Dani by the end of this week and vice versa. Plus Dani's all about having floaters in the house, cause they're easier to beat in competitions. So it looks like it's doomsday for one of the Alum Couples, but how will it unfold this week?
